Our Team

Meet The Team Members of Estate Planning Law Group of Blazek & Gregg

Janene has been assisting the attorneys of Blazek and Gregg since 2002. She serves the firm as office manager and bookkeeper. Services she provides to the attorneys, our clients, and their families include extensive experience in the preparation and filing of federal estate tax returns and Nebraska and Iowa inheritance tax returns.

While the majority of her day is focused in the areas of trust/estate administration and probates, Janene has also assisted with the drafting of estate planning documents and formation documents of For-Profit corporations, Non-Profit corporations, and Limited Liability Companies in Nebraska and Iowa. She sees to the ongoing maintenance of corporations and LLCs, annual minutes, and biennial state renewals. Spending time with the generations of her family is how she prefers to devote her time when away from the office

Stacy joined the Blazek & Gregg team in 2006 when she was hired as a Funding Coordinator. The past 16 years have been spent diligently assisting our clients with transferring their assets according to their estate plans, as well as LLC formation. She has recently begun using her expertise to assist our clients in coming full circle through the administration and probate process.

Stacy also volunteers with a local nonprofit, Victory Riding Academy, Inc., which provides equine-assisted activities for the Military, Veterans, First Responders, and their families. 3 of the past 4 years she has been the Coordinator. Having grown up with a parent in the Army, she understands the hardships that follow the service member as well as their family, so the ability to combine giving back with her passion for horses has been a true blessing.

All her spare time is spent with her amazingly supportive husband Jason and sons Jaxson and Ronin. It is her favorite thing to watch her oldest pursue his passion on the football field and see her youngest navigate, still trying to find his ‘niche.’ They are all looking forward to summer road trips with their dogs in the quest to find land in the Blue Ridge area of the United States to call home after their boys graduate from school.

Lindsay Frederickson has been an estate planning paralegal with Blazek & Gregg since 2012. Lindsay’s primary responsibilities include assisting clients by funding assets to various entities based on the client’s estate planning design, establishing business entities, trust administrations, probates, and a variety of other tasks requested by our attorneys or clients.

Away from work, Lindsay tries to keep busy. She and her husband, Jesse, have two little girls, Aubrie and Avery. She is a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Bellevue, NE, and volunteers as the co-chair of the Together Team, which organizes events within the church to emphasize community, togetherness, and outreach. Lindsay enjoys spending time with family, cheering on the Huskers, reading, teaching her girls how to cook and bake, and relaxing (when able).

Patty joined Blazek & Gregg in September of 2019. Her responsibilities include assisting the attorneys with the creation of estate planning documents and maintaining/organizing files for the firm and clients. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids. She also enjoys Nebraska football and camping.

Makenna joined Blazek & Gregg in 2022. She not only greets all guests at the office but also manages the calendars for all attorneys and supports the team in numerous ways.

She was born and raised in Fremont, NE, and graduated from Fremont Senior High School. Prior to working at Blazek & Gregg, she worked at First United Methodist Church in Fremont for three years but has been a member for most of her life. Her passions include helping people in any capacity, volunteering, and during the Christmas season, making tie blankets for Project Linus, a volunteer organization with a mission to provide a sense of comfort to children who are seriously ill or traumatized through the gifts of new, handmade blankets.

Outside of her passions, she is actively involved with Sozo Ministries in downtown-Omaha, and co-leads a bible study. Makenna also wishes the best for people and lives her life by the wise words of Micah 6:8, which is to act justly, love mercy, and to walk humbly. She enjoys the outdoors, spending time with her friends and family, and generally making the world a little bit better than the day before, as well as enjoying too much coffee on every occasion. Makenna is pursuing an education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, majoring in Journalism & Mass Media Communications; she plans to graduate in the winter of 2023
